SkillTwins

SkillTwins

SkillTwins is a free soccer game packed with tens of thousands of levels that come in different difficulty tiers. You’ll go head-to-head with teams from around the world, controlling your players to push past the defense and score. Along the way, you can unlock a wide range of combo techniques, with each move captured using professional motion-capture performances to keep the action feeling authentic.

You can also share your best plays anytime with the community and collect likes and comments. The game is set up for ongoing support, with new and more challenging levels added over time to keep the challenge fresh and the fun going.

Controls (Dual Stick)

SkillTwins uses a dual stick control layout: one side helps you move, while the other side is for performing soccer techniques. If you’ve played games like FIFA Street or PES Skill Training, you’ll recognize the style quickly—but it still takes practice once you’re in matches. Strong attackers face strong defenders, and the AI will pressure you hard if you’re not careful.

  • Left joystick: Move your character.
  • Right joystick: Use skills in different directions.
  • Dash button: Lets your player accelerate—especially useful when you need to break free from pressure.
  • Shoot button: Used less often because gameplay focuses on dribbling, but when the moment is right, you should take it.

Key Features

SkillTwins

  • 10,000+ Levels to Play: Travel across iconic cities worldwide and tackle 10,000+ level variations, including locations inspired by the USA, Australia, Italy, Brazil, and more.
  • Massive Customization Suite: Customize jerseys, shorts, hairstyles, and even football designs—everything is adjustable.
  • World Tour Adventure: Compete across varied terrains. As climates change, adapt by using your skills to influence how the ball behaves.
  • Social Competition: Play against friends or other players, climb leaderboards, and prove who the top freestyle player really is.
  • Realistic Motion Capture: Tricks and skills are performed in a studio by the SkillTwins team and recorded so the in-game moves look and feel as realistic as possible.

Useful Tips

1) Build Combo Strings

This game isn’t only about scoring or defending—it’s about linking combos. The longer your combo chain is, the bigger your bonus becomes. Weave through slalom sections, bait defenders, and keep your momentum as long as you can to create a long, impressive sequence.

Important: You can’t form a combo chain just by repeating the exact same trick over and over. To keep the combo going, you must mix up your moves. If you do the same trick twice in a row, the chain will break.

2) Check the Skill Book

If you want stronger combo strings, you’ll need to study. Use the skill book to review how to perform each trick correctly. You’ll learn some moves during the tutorial, but after that, you may need to consult the skill book periodically.

Also note that the tutorial instructions may be inaccurate or incomplete. If something feels unclear, rely on the skill book for confirmation.

3) Earning and Spending Coins

You earn coins naturally by playing, so focus on building longer combos to increase your coin gains. Coins can be used to buy new balls and character customization options. However, coins do not change your gameplay performance—these purchases are purely for personalization.

For actual progression or premium content, the items you should pay attention to are gems/diamonds, which serve as the game’s premium currency.

Player Feedback

  • “I know this game hasn’t been updated in a while, maybe never—but it’s really good. The bugs aside, it’s a great game. I unlocked all the skills, but I still haven’t finished. If it gets updated one more time, that would be amazing. I’d love to see more skills added.”
  • “I loved this game because I’m a big fan of Skill Twins, and it has many new skills compared to the first part. I recommend it to all football fans and freestyle players—by playing, you’ll learn new skills and improve how you use them.”
