In Duskwood, you step into an interactive murder mystery where you investigate a story and work toward the truth—before it’s too late. Your mission is to locate Hannah and keep both her friends and yourself safe. Just “looking around” won’t be enough: you’ll need to talk to characters, uncover clues, and track down hidden evidence.

The experience is rounded out with images, voice messages, and mini-games, helping turn the mystery into a richer, more immersive adventure.

Gameplay

The game runs on a smartphone-style interface. You’ll investigate by tapping and interacting with items on-screen, piecing together what happened and clearing your name in the process.

Thanks to its straightforward controls, it’s easy to get started. Your journey begins by joining a WhatsApp group. Messages from other members show up on your screen automatically, and you can respond directly. As the story unfolds, you can also hold private chats with group members to gather additional details.

Duskwood takes place in a remote region, surrounded by dense forest and wide open grasslands. The town feels cut off from the outside world, giving everything a heavy, gloomy atmosphere. In the Twilight Forest area, you’ll meet a mix of locals and suspicious figures as your investigation pushes deeper into secrets—where important clues may be hidden anywhere.

A gripping plot and a cast of characters

The story begins three days after Hannah’s disappearance. Hannah’s boyfriend, Thomas, receives a text message containing only your phone number. Now you must prove you’re not the kidnapper—and uncover who really is behind it. You’ll collaborate with other characters, trade information, ask questions, and study clues until the truth comes into focus.

Along the way, you’ll interact with many of Hannah’s acquaintances—including Thomas, Cleo, Richie, Jesse, and Dan—and additional characters who appear later from within Twilight Forest.

Thomas pulls you into the first conversation, alongside the others. Cleo, Richie, Jesse, and Hannah’s friends all work toward the same goal: finding her. As more people enter the story, you’ll receive new information and fresh leads.

Each character comes with a mysterious, enigmatic background. They may share key information, but you should stay cautious—because the kidnappers could be hiding among them. Twilight Forest is packed with twists, unexpected turns, and layered developments that keep you constantly wondering what happens next.

Graphics and Sound
