Nothing Weird Happens Here Introduction
Nothing Weird Happens Here Move to a new city for university and live with your aunt and two very different cousins. Your choices shape relationships, reveal secrets, and unlock evolving story scenes. Continuously updated.
Nothing Weird Happens Here
In Nothing Weird Happens Here, you start university in a brand-new city and move in with your aunt and two cousins—each with a very different personality. The question is simple: what choices will you make? Will you keep things calm and enjoy a peaceful school life with them, or will you gradually build strong emotional connections through different situations, slowly earning their trust and unlocking exciting intimate scenes? It’s all in your hands.

The game is updated continuously, with new story chapters and more animated moments added over time to match what players want to see.
Story of Nothing Weird Happens Here
You relocate to a new city to begin university. Sounds ordinary, right? A fresh start. A new home. New faces. The perfect chance to reset your life.
You’re staying with your aunt—kind, a little worn down, but patient to the core, doing her best to keep everything from falling apart. And her daughters? They couldn’t be more different. One is sharp, bold, and provocative; the other is quieter and harder to read.
Then life settles into a routine:
- University classes
- Searching for a part-time job
- Awkward conversations in the kitchen
- Flirting that quietly crosses the line more than once
Everything looks normal—seriously. Totally normal. But sometimes you notice things other people don’t: a glance that lingers a second too long, an awkward pause mid-conversation, and the growing feeling that the town may follow rules you’re not being told.
Or maybe you’re just overthinking it. After all… nothing weird happens here.
Key Features of Nothing Weird Happens Here
Dynamic Relationships & Family Dynamics
Build bonds with your aunt and her two daughters, whose attitudes can shift subtly depending on what you say and do. Your days involve shared responsibilities and late-night talks that gradually expose buried resentment, loyalty, and family history.
- Shape how peaceful the household feels through small actions (like cooking, calming arguments, or stumbling on private journals).
- Watch how each daughter’s personality and reactions evolve based on your dialogue choices.

Slice-of-Life Exploration with a Strange Twist
Explore a hand-painted open world that mixes everyday places—cafés and libraries—with unsettling details. You may run into talking animals, streetlamps that seem aware, and doors that lead somewhere they really shouldn’t.
- Do low-pressure activities like photography, gardening, or attending lectures—simple actions can trigger surreal moments.
- Spot “glitches” in reality, such as flickering lights or distorted audio, hinting that the town is no longer fully connected to the supernatural.
Choice-Driven Story Layers
Your progress depends on what you decide in the moment. Even “small” choices can change relationships and open alternate story paths.

- Make everyday decisions that steer events (for example, ignoring a neighbor who asks for help, or investigating a mysterious mural).
- Face moral dilemmas—whether you protect a friend’s secret or expose a cover-up that reaches across the whole town.
- Experience timed moments, like a midnight festival where wishes come true (or missing it and seeing the town’s quiet aftermath).
Atmospheric Sound Design & Visual Style
A melancholic indie soundtrack supports visuals that shift from soft, watercolor-like sunsets to harsher glitch effects during key scenes. The game also uses environmental storytelling—small details that suggest what characters are feeling or what’s quietly “wrong.”
- Subtle cues show emotions (for instance, wilting flowers hint at sadness).
- Changes in the environment (like rearranged furniture) can suggest supernatural interference.

“Ai art is great.” The characters and story feel strong. It would be awesome to add mini-games or extra animations—animations don’t need to be super smooth, just something basic like the style seen in games such as Summertime Saga.

“Damn my Aunt has big breasts! (in game)”
I haven’t completed the current update yet, but I’m close—and I’ve really, really enjoyed it. Each girl has her own personality, and there are situations you can help them work through, which is great. They also look very appealing. I’m especially curious about the side characters at the university and the mall to see what their stories are. Overall, it’s been a lot of fun and deeper than I expected. I’m looking forward to more updates!

I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but at high resolution the text inside the interface looks pixelated, along with the directional arrows. I haven’t tested lower resolution, but at the moment it’s a bit distracting and pulls you out of the experience. After a while, I figured it might be a deliberate dev choice, so it stopped bothering me.
Also, the phone appears pixelated when you bring it up. Backgrounds and character renders look good and consistent so far. Characters move across the screen, but it looks more like updated still renders than true animation. In the library, I also couldn’t find an image when trying to pick it up.

Still, it’s a great light game to play occasionally, and it hits the mark. I enjoyed it even if it can feel a little grindy at times. Looking forward to the next update.
