Blade of Shadows is an action-adventure game that mixes fast combat with Roguelike-style runs. Step into terrifying, procedurally generated dungeons where you’ll face waves of different enemies and monsters. Using strong weapons and a variety of skills, you’ll push through fights, defeat foes, and gather rewards and loot to keep improving your combat power.

The dungeon layout is system-generated, with a high level of randomness. Every time you enter, you’ll encounter new monsters and different terrain, so no two runs feel the same.

Controls

• Movement: Use the joystick on the screen. It appears as your touch point when you press the left half of the display.
• Camera/looking around: When you’re not moving, the joystick hides automatically so you can freely look around.
• No dash/sprint: There is no dash or sprint mechanic. Throughout the entire game (including during combat), your character moves only by walking.
• Actions (bottom-right): The action buttons are located in the bottom-right corner.

  • Hand button: interact with objects and pick up items

Combat timing tip: Attack animations—both your own and the enemies’—play out relatively slowly. This gives you time to judge your strikes, dodge, or block during fights. Once an attack begins, you can’t switch to other actions until the animation finishes and your weapon returns to its normal state. If you get hit during that window, you’ll take damage. Enemies follow the same rules, which you can use to set up counterattacks.
