Changelog (v3.0 Progress Report Pt. 3)

This is the third and final update in the road to v3.0 progress reports. If you missed the earlier reports, you can check the previous ones as well.

New People to Meet

Several new minor factions are being added to the game. Each faction includes its own mini-quests and also connects into the main story. The new characters include:

• Dez and Ali — from the Mech faction
• Jaylee and her brother Ashon — from the Scavvers
• Saskia and Frida — from the Needle girls (previously called the cosplay club)

Gloryholes

Nate finally asks Sammy for help with building a gloryhole at school, and she agrees. She then goes looking for out how something like that could even be made. Along the way, she connects with Dez and Ali, who tell her what she needs—but they won’t directly assist, since it’s not an Institute job.

You’ll need to either solve the problem they’re dealing with or find another way to get the equipment required. Once you’ve collected everything, return to Nate and he will handle the build at the school. After that, you’ll be able to make more across Blaston now that you have the tools.

Girl Love Content

With Dani taking on a bigger role in the pub-related work—plus the addition of Ali and Jaylee—a stronger girl-love direction is beginning to form.

Dani’s events mostly involve men in the pub, while Sammy/Trixie can have some fun during that content. However, with Jaylee, a full romance becomes possible. Eventually, Jaylee will even offer Sammy her home (a trailer located in the junkyard). If you choose, the player can use it as a home base.

Note: Sammy should be prepared—Jaylee may wake her up in an… unusual way.

Scavving (Scavenging)

Work has started on scavenging around town to find items you can sell. This job is designed as an alternative to some of the more shady work. It’s hard, dirty labor, and while it doesn’t involve selling yourself, you will travel across town—and into riskier areas—to search for supplies.

In the early game, scavenging will mainly provide extra cash. As you sell junk to vendors, they’ll begin offering unique items crafted from the junk you’ve provided. For example, the Needle girls will sell special outfits, while the beach girls will offer jewelry and small trinkets.

Release Window

Release is expected in the first half of November, though v3.0 still has large elements planned that haven’t even started yet.
