• Sandbox-first approach: Players report the game currently focuses on making sandbox-style interactions work before expanding “game portions.”
• Controls: Compared with VaM, some users describe Captain Hardcore as having simpler controls, but less customization depth (for example: custom skin textures, static 3D object import, audio loop import, and image plane import).
• Quality-of-life needs: Comments suggest the game is enjoyable and creative, but would benefit from a lot of QOL improvements.

This update adds over 40 new skin texture presets, including new alien and android skins.

• Pubic hair upgrades: 17 pubic hair styles are included, featuring a special fur shader to increase thickness and realism. You can also customize pubic hair color.
• More cosmetics: Expect lots of new tattoos and makeup presets.
• Rope gun for Asstronauts: A new experimental mechanic lets the Asstronaut shoot rope that can attach to characters and objects. The first hit object attaches to the rope’s end, and the second point can be grabbed to pull.

Notes & Download Size

• Support for older character saves was attempted, but the new texture preset system may cause issues when loading characters created in earlier versions.
• This build adds over 6GB of detailed skin textures, making the overall download about 15GB total.
• The next update is planned for Quest. Developers are asking which features players want ported next.
