Awesome Storyline

To complete his university education, the protagonist has no option but to move in with his aunt, Sarah. He’s an only child raised by a single mother, with no relationship to his biological father. He only remembers his mother briefly mentioning that they divorced when he was still a baby.

Now grown and preparing for university, he’s faced with one problem: the campus is far from home. Because money is tight, he depends on Aunt Sarah for housing. Not long after moving in, he discovers a secret that Sarah—and her two cousins, Kate and Monique—have kept hidden for years.

As each revelation is uncovered, the protagonist’s understanding of everything around him is permanently reshaped.

Developer Notes

Game System Overhaul

There have been community complaints about the game’s “navigation system” and the fact that you can’t realistically play without using a guide. The main issue was that events felt scattered—you had to know exactly when and where a specific event would happen.

After stepping back, the developer decided the navigation approach wasn’t matching expectations. Since the Alpha release, work has been ongoing to improve the system.

What’s next: After the Night Pool Party (end of Chapter 6), the game will be rebuilt. Roughly 50% of the new system is already in place, and it will be fully ready for the final release, 004.

How the new system works (explained)

Before: Events were tied to specific days (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) and specific times (morning, afternoon, etc.), making it hard to know when things would happen without a guide.

Now: Events run sequentially. One event unlocks the next, and they continue daily until you manually trigger them. Example:

• After the pool party, you wake up in your room. From there, the only destination is Sarah’s house. It’s Sunday morning, and if you move around the house, you’ll find Monique, Sarah, and Kate.
• Different actions (like sleeping or working out at the gym) will advance the day’s progress, but this time you must talk to Sarah. She’ll say college is about to open and ask you to speak with Kate.
• If you talk to Kate, college opens.
• If you talked to Sarah but not Kate, Sarah’s part keeps progressing, but Kate’s events repeat every day until you finally talk to her. Once you do, college opens, and Kate’s timeline continues.
• If you don’t talk to Sarah or Kate on Sunday morning or afternoon, both events repeat on Monday.

The developer notes they may not have explained it perfectly—but they genuinely like this new approach. You’ll be able to try it in the updated version coming at the end of this month or the start of next month (scheduled for May 4–5).
