In the developer’s view, the new music and sound effects fit the game and its scenes, but they’re not “top-tier.” They also considered player feedback—since a significant number of players play without music—and decided not to spend heavily on brand-new songs and sounds. For reference, the updated music/sounds cost roughly $800. The developer notes that a better platform license can be worth far more. They plan to invest in truly outstanding audio for the next project.
