We3

We3 is a secure, privacy-focused social app that helps you meet people across the globe. Using smart recommendation and matching technology, it suggests compatible matches based on what you care about most. You can chat with others in groups of three, and you’ll also take fun psychological quizzes designed to help you connect faster.
The app is built with safety in mind. It runs without ads or pop-ups, doesn’t collect browsing activity, and works to protect your personal information and account security—so you can communicate with confidence. Conversations support multiple formats, including text, images, and videos.
How We3 works
- Science + AI matching: We3 uses social science and artificial intelligence to connect you with people who are most compatible—typically in groups around you.
- Answer the quizzes: Start with entertaining but thoughtful psychographic questions, from your music preferences to how bothered you are by spelling and grammar mistakes.
- We3 builds your group: The matching system evaluates hundreds of factors so your trio is more likely to click. You can also view a group’s overall compatibility, including shared aims and overlapping quirks.
- Chat & hang out: Join a group to talk in the group chat before deciding to meet in real life. Real-world meetups are encouraged* because that’s where you truly get to know someone.

Key features
Three-person group matching
We3 matches users into groups of three using an advanced algorithm that considers many different factors. This approach is designed to create a more comfortable social setting, helping reduce the awkwardness that can come with one-on-one conversations. By encouraging smaller group connections, the app aims to make it easier to get to know new people.
Psychographic quizzes for better fit

Before matching, you take a series of psychographic quizzes covering topics like personal interests, favorite activities, and core values. The app uses what you share to generate matches that align with your preferences and lifestyle, improving the odds of forming genuine, meaningful friendships.
Privacy-first experience
We3 focuses heavily on privacy. Unlike many social platforms, it doesn’t push public profile pages and doesn’t rely on advertisements. Your information stays confidential and isn’t sold to advertisers. This helps you interact more naturally with potential friends.

No endless feed distraction
Instead of an endless scrolling feed, We3 encourages you to concentrate on conversations with new people. The goal is to support real interaction—helping you build connections based on shared interests and values rather than passive browsing.
Safety and authenticity protections
Safety is built into the way the community works. We3 promotes meeting in groups of three, which is generally considered safer than one-on-one meetups. You can also filter potential matches by gender (for example, to look for women friends only, if that’s what you prefer). On top of that, strict account authenticity policies help reduce the risk of fraudulent profiles accessing the platform.
User reviews of We3
Review excerpt: “I’ve met a few people through this app… some I had a lot in common with, others felt more superficial. But I’ve never actually seen a third person join—most often it ends up being just me and one other. For me that’s okay since I’m not matching local friends, so the awkwardness isn’t really there for a messaging-only relationship. The thing I’m skeptical about is how I can get a big list of compatible people, but none of them are compatible with each other. It also never lets me choose the third person to invite. It might be a bug, or I wish there were an option to accept if a group only has two people.
I’m also interested in some people based on shared interests and goals, but I can’t reach them directly—the only groups that seem to work are the ones generated by the app. I even had a case where I selected someone to start a group with; it showed no matches for a third person, and a couple days later the app invited me to a different group that included that same person. My original incomplete group was still open. Something feels off.”

Another review excerpt: “The matching approach seems like it should create longer-lasting relationships. It considers interests, personality traits, and life goals, and it also identifies deal-breakers you might never want to compromise on. It’s easy to use, though one complaint is that the messaging can be buggy or not work well.”
