User Reviews

Review 1: The app is strong in translation and Tafaseer options. In English alone, it offers 5 different translations (including Mufti Taqi Uthmani’s newly released translation) and 2 Tafaseer: Ibn Katheer and Jalaalayn. The word-to-word breakdown is especially helpful. Customization for font size and style is also great, along with multiple themes. A feature that stood out (missing in other apps) is the ability to move from the full explanation of one verse to the next verse without returning to the translation page. A small drawback is that downloading Surahs for audio can take a long time—other apps played instantly by streaming from the internet. Still, the app’s simplicity and overall quality make it a 5-star experience for the reviewer (they rarely use audio anyway).

Review 2: The app is amazing, and the Tafsir is helpful for understanding and loving the Quran. However, there are a few minor bugs. One issue is that part of the translation from a previous ayah can carry into the next ayah; for readers without Arabic knowledge, this can feel confusing. For example, in Surah Nuh (Ayah 23–24), the second half of Ayah 23 appears in the translation for Ayah 24. Similar problems occur in other ayat too. Another issue involves bookmarks and collections: after adding something to a bookmark, a small colored marker appears next to the ayah number, but if you remove the bookmark, the marker may remain and won’t fully disappear unless you delete the bookmark entirely, which is inconvenient. The reviewer has bookmarks and a collection tab of ayat they want to ask a sheikh about, but when they remove them from the collection the marks stay, making it unclear whether those answers were already addressed.
