User Feedback

  • Caption and support issues: “I’ve used this app since it launched and I’ve always liked it. But two problems keep showing up even after updates. First, gallery captions stopped working last year. For example, during Halloween you’d normally tap a photo and see it labeled with names—now it’s just the photos. Second, the support link only opens the app, with no clear way to report problems. Fixing these would earn you 5 stars from me.”

  • Missing names in “ ‘Memba them”: “I enjoy TMZ and the app, but the section titled ‘Memba them’ no longer shows the names of the celebrities in the pictures. That makes it harder to look up who you’re seeing. Names would be really helpful for anyone who wants to learn more.”

  • Concerns about comments: “I also noticed hateful comments on the site, and it honestly makes it uncomfortable to read them—especially when many posts don’t even relate to the article. If there’s a part of the app that should be removed, why not disable comments?”

  • Commenting changes: “This is a solid app for pop culture news, but it has a specific point of view. The earlier version included a real comment section, but it was removed. Now there’s only a basic ‘Which emoji do you feel like?’ option, and there’s no clear way to disagree. I understand it may not be run by traditional reporters, but it feels like ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ thinking dominates now.”
