StorySave is an app designed to save posts from Instagram accounts. Since Instagram doesn’t provide a built-in way to download photos or videos, this app offers an alternative workflow for saving content.

Using it is simple: open the Instagram post you want, press and hold the photo to download it, and you can save images or videos even if you don’t follow that creator. The app also stores downloads into different folders, automatically organizing files so you can find them quickly.

How to Use

In the app, you can browse content shared by people you follow on Instagram. If you want to save posts, stories, or live streams from accounts you don’t follow, use the search button in the toolbar to look up the Instagram user.

• When you save posts, stories, or live streams, they’re also added to your gallery.
• Please ask your friends’ permission before saving their posts, stories, or live streams. :)

What’s New

• You can now press and hold in the story grid to select for downloading.
• A red “New” badge is now shown on stories you haven’t viewed yet (in grid view).



• New settings let you show or hide the unread count and the “New” badge.
• Added an option to mark all stories as viewed from the Stories grid menu.
• The user favorites control icon has been updated to a star.
• Removed the ability to tap a user’s profile picture in the feed list to view activity (this change was made because it confused many users).
• Other UI improvements were also included.

• “I really like this app. But for some reason, I can't see any live streams. Could you add a filter by favorites on the Stories tab? (Specifically the Stories tab) Not all the people I follow appear in my Stories feed, causing me to miss some stories—this is probably an Instagram issue, not yours. If I could filter by favorites, I wouldn't miss any stories and wouldn't have to view everyone's stories individually. Aside from that, thank you so much for developing such a great app.”
