Please, Don't Touch Anything Introduction
Please, Don't Touch Anything Please, Don’t Touch Anything challenges you to watch a control panel, resist temptation, explore clues, and trigger different endings. Can you stop nuclear war—or start a new life?
Please, Don't Touch Anything
Please, Don't Touch Anything is a well-known puzzle game where you step into a colleague’s role and are tasked with watching the red button on a control panel. Your main dilemma is simple: do you press it, or do you resist?
If you can keep your hands off the button, you’ll unlock 25 puzzles, each with its own difficulty level. To solve them, you’ll need to examine posters around the office, uncover clues, and then use the control panel—because different button/switch combinations lead to different outcomes.
Can you stop an outbreak of nuclear war? Or will the aftermath bring something entirely new? The answer is different for every player, and it’s all based on what you choose to do.
Gameplay Overview
In most situations, your job is to sit and monitor the red button while keeping an eye on the city monitor screen. The game even warns you not to touch anything—yet that warning is part of the challenge.
No matter whether you press the button or not, other interactive elements may appear: buttons, switches, levers, and objects that seem to pop up on the table. Interacting with these things can trigger new switches or buttons, but sometimes it can also lead to an instant failure—ending the game.
And that’s exactly the point. The real puzzle isn’t only solving what happens when you press the button—it’s discovering how to reach different endings. Try experimenting with the buttons and switches you find: how many elements can you uncover on the table before it’s too late?
Don’t be shocked when the endings show up—this game thrives on surprises.
Based on available information, Please, Don't Touch Anything currently offers up to 35 different endings. The most straightforward one is also the most literal: follow the game’s title and do nothing. After a while, your colleague returns and you’ll get a short conversation—but it might not satisfy everyone’s curiosity.
