If you’re unsure whether you can win, compare your size to your opponent’s. When your number is higher, chase your target and eliminate every follower they have. If you’re smaller, move toward quieter parts of the city to recruit more troops.

Should You Consume the Entire Following?

In most cases, yes—try to absorb every single troop from your enemy’s group. However, if you feel confident, you can leave one survivor alive to recruit more later, then attack again. This can save time, but it’s a risk: you might not catch that player again, and they could eventually recover troops. Also consider fully consuming your opponent to prevent them from fueling the competition.

The goal is simple: collect as many followers as possible within a short time window. Keep collecting up to the last seconds of a round by seeking other players, matching their colors, and consuming their crowds as soon as you can.
