Where’s My Water?

Where’s My Water? is a fun puzzle game with stages that range from easy to challenging. Your job is to dig tunnels that route water to three little ducks, fill them up, and then send the water into Swampy’s bathtub—so the cleanliness-loving crocodile can finally take a bath.

As you progress, earning a three-star rating unlocks additional levels and fresh gameplay challenges. You’ll also have access to various items, and using them at the right moment is key to completing the three-duck objective.

The game is driven by a rich storyline, letting you experience Swampy’s complicated relationship with other sewer crocodiles, making the whole experience feel more immersive.

How the Gameplay Works

In the sewers beneath the city lives Swampy, an alligator who hates being dirty. But every time he tries to bathe, Cranky (another alligator in the sewers) interferes and disrupts the water flow to Swampy’s home.

Source of Water

At the start of each level, you’ll find water either:

• Pooling in set locations (a limited amount), or
• Flowing endlessly from a pipe (an infinite supply).

Dig, Route, and Fill

Use your device’s touch screen to dig through dirt and redirect the water toward an inlet that leads to Swampy’s tub. Sometimes the water must be guided through additional pipes, or it needs to interact with machines to open a path to the inlet.

Once the required amount of water reaches the bathtub, the stage is completed and the next one unlocks. If all the water disappears, or turns into poison or mud, you fail the level.

Collect the Ducks

Across each level you can find three rubber ducks. Collect them when they absorb water. Some levels also hide bonus items in the dirt—completing three-item collections unlocks extra bonus content.

Hazards You Must Handle

Many stages include threats that either need to be avoided or removed. For example:

• Algae can appear and will absorb water while growing.
• Other hazards may include purple poison, reddish mud, and green ooze.

Key hazard behaviors:

• A single drop of poison can contaminate clean water, turning it into poison.
• Ooze eats through dirt, pops balloons, and reacts with water—destroying both fluids.
• Mud eventually hardens into dirt, unless water reaches it—in that case, it turns into mud immediately.
• If poison, ooze, or mud reaches the inlet, the level is lost and will restart automatically.

Special Effects and Interactions

• Bombs destroy objects and kill rubber ducks on contact.
• Regular water kills Cranky Ducks, while poison kills the other ducks.
• Poison and ooze also remove invasive algae:
  • Poison clears it.
  • Ooze can solidify it into a rock.
• If poison and ooze touch each other, they can react explosively—sometimes opening new parts of the level, for better or worse.

Scoring and Progression

Points depend on:

• Time taken to complete the level,
• Rubber duck collection, and
• Delivering more than the minimum amount of water to Swampy’s tub.

Collecting a certain number of rubber ducks can also unlock new groups of levels.
