Chess – Offline Board Game is a chess app you can play without an internet connection. Challenge an AI opponent offline, with difficulty settings that range from Easy for newcomers all the way up to Hard for advanced players.

You can also play two-player matches on the same device. Start a quick 1v1 game with a friend and find out who’s really in control. Plus, the game includes daily puzzles to help sharpen your tactics and strategic thinking every day.

Gameplay

In standard chess, each side has 16 pieces: a king, a queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns.

The objective is to checkmate your opponent by placing your pieces in the right squares so the enemy king is trapped with no legal escape.

Choose from three AI difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard.
