Stormblades is an action-adventure game built for players who want to prove their skill. You’ll face a wide variety of enemies, push deeper into hazardous ruins, and learn to survive by dodging incoming strikes. When you find an opening, defeat foes quickly and decisively using your weapons. Earn valuable rewards to keep improving your gear—especially your blades—until you eventually become a legendary adventurer.

Strengthen your character’s combat power by upgrading both weapons and equipment. Once you’re ready, you can challenge other players in the arena and display your fighting ability. The game also receives ongoing updates, adding fresh gameplay and new events for players to enjoy.

Gameplay in Stormblades

Stormblades’ battle flow is closely tied to the feel of Infinity Blade. To use your sword, simply slide or drag your mouse on-screen. You’ll also need to deflect enemy attacks to stun and pressure them.

To bring an opponent down, you typically must break their armor first. Keep in mind that the camera slightly slows as you get closer to an enemy, giving you a better moment to perform a counter. After you successfully redirect their attack, you must read what they’ll do next and respond in time—this is when you can secure your own strikes.

Each enemy also has its own set of abilities, including magic spells that are not always easy to avoid. When you need to dodge these kinds of attacks, tap/click twice on the screen. Quick double-clicks work as well. Note: clicking repeatedly won’t always make your character disengage—two clicks is what triggers the proper dodge behavior.

Between fights, your character runs through ruins and jungles to chase the essence that appears. This essence is important for developing your sword skills over time.

Simplicity is part of what makes Stormblades fun. The game centers on three main activities: fighting enemies, collecting essence, and improving your weapons. You’ll still need basic tactics to handle giant monsters.

Useful Tips

Watch Out for the “Pot-Belly” Power-Up

• Some enemies resemble “Potbellies” due to their stocky build.



• These mace-wielding monsters have a special move tied to a specific stance.
• When a Potbelly stands still with arms crossed, don’t attack.
• Attacking them repeatedly during this stance charges them up, and they’ll eventually release a powerful burst of energy that can heavily damage you.
• Instead of striking, wait them out until they shift stance—then resume cutting them down.

Don’t Hesitate—Strike with Intent

• You don’t need to overthink it—you just need to win.
• A strong approach is to watch enemy actions, then prepare a blocking response.
• Even better: keep swiping to attack when the enemy starts a blockable attack, so you can land two or three hits between their moves.



• Learning each enemy’s attack cues takes time, but once you recognize them, you can maximize your offensive openings.

Mages: Keep Your Eyes on the Sky

• When fighting mage-type enemies, always look upward.
• Mages often hide behind an energy shield—tempting, but it’s usually a trap if you just hack at it blindly.
• Soon after the shield appears, the mage charges a special move that calls down a fireball from above.
• As soon as you see the shield form, pause briefly to check for the fireball and avoid it easily.
