Rapelay is an adult-themed visual novel built around role-playing. You play as a middle-aged man with malicious intentions, pulled into a revenge-driven storyline after being involved in inappropriate conduct on a crowded train. A high school student named Aoi Kiryu reports him, he is released from custody soon after, and the game immediately shifts into his plans for retaliation.

The experience features detailed, polished visuals in a distinct 2D anime style. As the plot unfolds, you systematically target the female protagonist’s closest family members, gradually tightening the net before moving toward the final act. The game includes many interactive choices, supports different play modes, and lets you steer the story toward multiple possible endings.

Attractive Storyline

You take on the role of Masaya Kimura, a character known for harassing women in busy subway cars. One day, Aoi Kiryu, a high school student, reports Masaya for molesting her—leading to his arrest. But only a day after his release, helped by his influential father, Masaya starts planning revenge against Aoi.

He begins stalking Aoi and learns she lives with her younger sister Manaka and her widowed mother Yūko. The plan escalates quickly: his first move is to target Manaka, followed by Yūko, before Aoi herself becomes the ultimate objective. Masaya uses blackmail based on illicit photos of Aoi’s mother to force her to accompany him to a hotel owned by his father, where the situation turns into a violent assault.

After you complete the first story mode, the game unlocks a choice system that lets you perform the scenarios with the characters under various conditions. This is the main source of the game’s replay value, and it’s also tied to the wordplay in the title RapeLay.

Training Mode

This unlockable section is called Training Mode. In it, you can use nine different methods to “tame” the three female characters. Once they’ve been fully “tamed,” they will not resist your requests within Training Mode.

Excellent Highlights

One of the game’s biggest strengths is its customization system. You can shape the character’s look and combat setup—covering everything from equipment to physical appearance—to match your preferred style and strategy. A broad selection of skins, weapon options, and upgrade choices supports both creativity and improved performance in gameplay.

The game also includes a multiplayer mode. Depending on availability and matchmaking, you can either team up with other players or compete against them. With smooth matchmaking and cross-platform support (where offered), the social side is designed to feel easy to access and quick to jump into—especially for players who enjoy testing skills against real people.

Wonderful Features

Black Ending

Considered the official ending. Shinya impregnates either Manaka, Aoi, or Yūko, and decides to keep the child. A few days later, Shinya falls onto train tracks and is killed by a speeding train.

Red Ending

If the “cowgirl” position is used before Aoi reaches her breaking point, the game triggers a cutscene where Aoi—holding a knife—laughs uncontrollably while repeatedly stabbing Shinya. The screen fades to black, leaving only Aoi’s voice. The game then ends with Aoi being questioned by police about Shinya’s murder.

Fantastic Characteristics

• Masaya Kimura (Kimura Masaya) — The protagonist and player-controlled character. As the son of a powerful politician, he has committed many crimes and holds an extensive arrest record. After release from prison, he becomes a chikan (sexual molester), stalking and attacking the Kiryū family. He has no voice actor; the narrative is delivered through text dialogue.
• Manaka Kiryū (Kiryū Manaka) — The younger sister, 12 years old, with short black hair and a blue dress. Players can equip her with cat ears, making her emit cat-like sounds. Voiced by Natsumi Yanase (credited as “Maki Izumi”).
• Aoi Kiryū (Kiryū Aoi) — The older sister, 17 years old, with long brown hair and a school uniform. Players may choose a ponytail style (default) or leave her hair loose. Voiced by Mao Enokizu.
• Yūko Kiryū — The widowed mother of the two sisters. She is a 42-year-old woman with short brown hair, wearing a green blouse and a beige skirt. Players can have her wear glasses, which changes her vocalizations to match a “virgin”/“otaku”-style archetype. Voiced by Akari Tomayama (credited as “Kaori”).
