THETA is an immersive adult role-playing visual novel set in the lively city of Mitien. You step into the role of the main protagonist and are free to wander through a huge, multicultural urban world—meeting a wide range of characters and learning how their personal relationships evolve. The experience blends creativity with open-ended exploration, while a suspense-driven storyline reveals each character’s motives, history, and surprising secrets. In the end, you alone shape what happens next—and determine your own ending.

Captivating Storyline

Explore Mitien, a city that never sleeps—especially in the “deep locations” inside its residents. The population is enormous and wonderfully varied, but it hides a shocking truth: about half of the people are constantly trapped inside the other half. Even so, society carries on as if nothing is unusual. Travel through interesting places, talk with memorable characters, and get to know them in a more intimate, story-focused way.

Amazing Features

• Fresh new layout and design—it looks great on mobile too, so be sure to try it there.
• Upgraded affection/unlock system—the game now gives clearer hints about what you need in order to access specific content.
• Note: Scenes that change based on Desire Level aren’t clearly separated yet. This is still being worked on. For example, the differences between “Embrace/Swallow” scenes at low versus high Desire levels may not be fully obvious—so you may need to experience the high-Desire version to confirm whether an alternate version exists.

Update Version (March 2024)

• March 2024: All major areas are now available: Bar, Park, Theater, and Apartments.
• Added new swallowing/digestion scenes featuring “Willow Tail.”
• Added Nutmeg’s OV (Oral Swallowing), CV (Anal Swallowing), and “Full Tour” scenes (now complete).
• Added Bishop’s “Tennis OV” and additional sex scenes after the match.
• Added Eaton’s “Shrinking OV” scene.
• Introduced patron cameos featuring: Cammie, Cherri, Leon, Lowen, Richie, Saoshi, and Selicia.
• The Inventory System is now—mostly—working (see Bishop’s Tennis).
• Bug fixes and adjustments were also included.

Final Thoughts

I’ve wanted to rebuild this project for a long time. As my skills with Twine improved, I kept expanding the overhaul step by step. Right now, I’m still redesigning many sections. Because of how the underlying code works, I’ve had to rethink certain mechanics—like object consumption and the idea of the player acting as a predator—so this version may be missing some content compared to the newest build on Quest. As a result, a few locations are currently locked.

That said, I believe this release offers a nicer-looking interface, runs directly in a browser (so it’s playable on mobile devices as well), and provides a smoother overall experience.
