Blurring the Walls Introduction
Blurring the Walls Step into Blurring the Walls, an adult visual novel set in Reivak. Navigate moral and relationship dilemmas, explore hidden rooms, and uncover secrets that reshape every ending.
Blurring the Walls
Blurring the Walls is an adult-focused visual novel built around striking imagery and a polished, high-detail art style powered by AI neural network technology. Step into an intense, fast-moving adventure where every moment feels charged and personal.

You play as the protagonist, traveling through the beautiful region of Reivak alongside your girlfriend Ayumi. Along the way, you’ll meet a wide range of characters—each with distinct motives, layered emotions, and relationships that evolve as the story progresses. As chapters unfold, new background details and shifting attitudes help reveal a more complex cast than you first expect.
Gameplay
Moral Crossroads
Decisions don’t stay isolated. Choose whether to let a tenant skip rent to support a sick relative—or evict them to cover bills—and watch how those choices ripple through the household, reshaping outcomes and endings.
Relationship Chemistry
Lean toward one tenant’s request and risk sparking resentment in others. As conflict grows over shared walls and hidden facts, you’ll manage rivalries, romance, and betrayal—sometimes all at once.
Economic Dilemmas

Keep the shelter financially stable by adjusting rents or cutting expenses, but don’t ignore maintenance. Neglected repairs may push tenants away. Worse, it could also expose unsettling truths about how secure—or unstable—the house really is.
Key Features
Character-Driven Chapters
Relive crucial moments through the eyes of Koji and his friends. Each chapter highlights their struggles with betrayal, survival, and identity. A friend’s hidden addiction—or another character’s forbidden relationship—can dramatically change how you understand the shelter’s power structure.
Shelter Exploration
Search the shelter for what others tried to lock away. Investigate sealed rooms and a bloodstained basement to uncover the darker history behind the walls. You may also find cryptic journals, surveillance clips, or suspicious dealings that point toward Shadow and the real purpose behind the shelter.
Atmospheric Worldbuilding
The building feels alive in the worst way: crumbling walls, lingering whispers, and a constant sense of confinement. Ambient audio—like leaking pipes and distant screams—immerses you in a tense, oppressive environment.
Survival vs. Morality
When stakes get high, you’ll be forced to choose. Will you steal medicine to help a sick friend, or expose a trafficker’s scheme? You can guard your allies at the cost of your own safety—or sacrifice them to earn Shadow’s warped trust.
Relationship Dynamics
Build alliances using secrets, persuasion, or outright manipulation. Romance a fellow resident for protection, but be careful—jealous rivals may respond with sabotage.
Branching Endgame Paths
Your final move determines what happens next: escape with evidence, burn the shelter down, or take control yourself. Endings range from bittersweet freedom to tragic entrapment.
Changelog
New build with most reported issues fixed:

- Optimized video compression to reduce overall size to < 2GB
- Added shader effects and full-screen options on the startup screen
- Lowered shader power to reduce motion sickness
- Fixed several scenes that were hard or impossible to unlock
- Added a Scene Unlocker (per day) plus a global unlock option

Animations updates:
- New animations added for all late-game content
- Older animations rebuilt with improved quality
- Higher resolution, correct looping, and significantly better color matching—the three biggest problems from the earlier versions
What’s Next
Work on what the developer calls v0.6.0 is already underway.
November is still the stretch goal, but the team is being realistic—delays caused by this public release have pushed the schedule back.
A full development update is planned for this Sunday, with more details about timeline and progress.
Good news: now that this version is live, the focus can shift entirely to creating new content.

Thanks for your patience while the game was polished to the standard the developer wanted. Rendering the animations took a lot of time and money (the render machines aren’t cheap), but seeing the game come alive has been a rewarding experience.
Note: this is still an early preview—please report any problems. A number of tweaks were needed to make the Scene gallery work, so the developer is hoping nothing was accidentally broken.
Thank you for your continued support!
Conclusion
With cinematic camera angles, thoughtfully built characters, and an emotional, realistic story, Blurring the Walls delivers a sweet yet dramatic journey—where every choice leaves a lasting mark on the protagonist’s life.
