Your mission: rescue your friends as you travel across a chain of exciting islands filled with puzzles, enemies, and boss battles.

Awesome Storyline

It’s a perfect day for fishing—until Goofy lands himself in serious trouble! Pete and PJ have been kidnapped by pirates. Now Goofy and Max have to brave the sea and row out to bring them back.

Following the pirates leads them all the way to Spoonerville Island. Along the way, they push through jungle obstacles, face chaotic mishaps, and eventually rescue their friends from the notorious Keelhaul Pete.

Players can choose to play as Goofy or Max across five different zones on Spoonerville Island:

• Beach
• Besieged Village
• Haunted Castle
• Underground Caves



• Pirate Ship (where Pete and PJ are held)

Character differences:

• Goofy moves more slowly than Max.
• Max is faster.
• Goofy deals significantly higher damage to enemies.

Excellent Gameplay

Each level challenges you to solve puzzles, reach the exit, and ultimately defeat the final boss. While Goofy and Max can’t fight with direct hand-to-hand combat, they still have plenty of ways to take enemies down.

• If a player runs out of health, they can be revived and receive three extra health points by moving to a different screen.

That connection makes even more sense because Shinji Mikami—known for his work in Capcom’s survival horror scene—also served as the director for Goof Troop.
