Kingdom: New Lands Introduction
Kingdom: New Lands Rule as a monarch in Kingdom: New Lands. Recruit and train villagers, manage gold and defenses, and survive night monster raids through a fast day-night cycle with changing seasons.
Kingdom: New Lands
Kingdom: New Lands is a popular simulation and management game where you take the role of a ruler. Using gold, you recruit ordinary villagers—and even wanderers—then train them into fighting units such as swordsmen and archers. As your kingdom grows, you’ll need to think ahead: place defenses wisely and build a range of protective structures to hold off monster raids that strike during the night. By pushing back these attacks, you’ll earn additional gold and loot, which lets you keep upgrading your defenses and expanding your territory.

Can you ultimately claim dominance over the continent? The game receives ongoing updates, adding new gameplay ideas and events to keep things fresh.

Highlights
The More You Explore, the More You Find
Even though this kingdom may look barren and worn down, it still holds valuable resources. Starting with a small group, you and your people travel across strange lands on horseback to search for what you need. When you locate resources, you can send them back to your country so your people can work efficiently and build what the kingdom requires.

And it’s not only things like wood, metal, gold, and silver. During expeditions, you may also uncover secrets, lost treasures, antiques, and other exciting discoveries—so missions often deliver more than you expect.
Recruit Loyal People
Having resources means little if you don’t have enough capable people. What you need most is to recruit loyal subjects, bring them together to learn and select their roles, and then assign them to positions that fit their strengths.
The king uses gold earned from resource locations to pay wages and recruit new members. These new arrivals become your army, but they’re also essential builders—key to restoring and strengthening the kingdom.
Build a Wealthy, Resilient Kingdom
To create a prosperous and safe kingdom, you’ll need to construct important projects. Assign residents to build sturdier walls, increase the number of watchtowers for better visibility, and expand your farmland with organized field plots. You can also build facilities like a bakery and a smithy.

As construction progresses, your residential area grows denser. The quicker you build and the smarter you distribute resources, the faster the kingdom takes shape—and the stronger the foundation becomes for both development and defense.

Protect Your Kingdom
Any land that shows signs of growth won’t go unnoticed. Since your region is full of resources and talent, you can expect attention from both threats and rivals. When night arrives, monsters emerge from the dark. During the day, foreign invaders attempt all kinds of interference.
To survive, recruit soldiers, establish defense lines, upgrade watchtowers, and craft weapons—so you’re ready for whatever the next raid brings.

Useful Tips
Explore Early
Before your farms are up and running, gold can be scarce. Venture far to the east and west. You may stumble upon treasure chests that help jumpstart your kingdom’s development.
Don’t Build Everything Right Away
This game is all about resource management. Early on, gold coins are valuable, so you’ll need to balance spending on new walls and farms with searching for lost souls in the woods.
In the beginning, a small number of archers per wall can outperform a large group of workers, since many recruits aren’t great at aiming. The best way to improve results? Line up multiple archers behind your defenses so a single volley turns into a steady shower of arrows.
Be Careful with Specialized Structures
Archer towers placed on boulders are convenient because they give archers a clear view over your walls. However, they can become a problem later: once you start expanding east and west, those archers may be harder to redeploy.
If you build these towers expecting quick territorial growth, you might end up with watchmen who become ineffective when your forces move to fight elsewhere.
Growing Your Population
Population growth follows a single core method—focus on that process to increase your numbers steadily.
