  A skilled and sharp-minded politician who walks a narrow path between charismatic hero and dangerous tyrant. He is Darek’s father.

• Darek

  A consummate servant of Nu Lios and her people—soldier, detective, and Agent—showing the skepticism and scars earned along the way.

• Crown

  A flashy, foul-mouthed Jazz singer with a dangerous talent: manipulating the mysterious energies of Jazz. So far, the results haven’t been entirely for the good.
