The game includes several modes. In Zombie Mode, you’ll hold your ground against unstoppable zombie waves, unlock powerful weapons, upgrade your gear, and try to survive for as long as possible.

Not every mission is built around running in guns blazing. Many stages encourage different approaches. For example, finding a high-angle location for sniper shots can be more effective than charging straight through.

Some players may prefer fast, arcade-style action and could find the slower moments less exciting, but the added variety helps keep combat fresh.

You can also use stealth during infiltration sections to stay unnoticed. Switching between quiet takedowns and full firefights ensures the gameplay doesn’t become repetitive.

A dramatic first assault

The opening is a set-piece: you parachute down from a fighter jet. After landing, your commander gives you orders and you begin attacking the enemy base with your squad.

Tall grass offers strong cover, letting you observe and evaluate the battlefield. Your next move is to eliminate enemy guards—aim at the watchtower to strike first and gain the element of surprise.

You can fight independently, but you’ll also coordinate with teammates through radio communication to build an effective attack plan.

Switching combat weapons

At the start of the raids, you’ll typically use a rifle, which makes it easier to move and aim at medium-range targets. With a maximum ammo capacity of 120 rounds, you won’t have to constantly worry about running out during engagements.

Before each new mission, the game provides a full ammunition supply. Reload after each raid and you’ll be able to keep fighting for a long time. However, the rifle isn’t perfectly accurate at longer distances.

In some scenes, you may also get access to a sniper rifle. When you move to the second floor of a building, you can aim across to the enemy base. You’ll control the scope adjustments yourself for more accurate shots.

Take on different roles

Throughout the campaign, you’ll be able to use and switch between multiple roles. In enemy chase sequences, you may control both an armored vehicle and an attack plane at the same time.

Black Strike is designed to let you experience how each role changes the outcome of the fight. To switch from driving a pursuit vehicle to a bomber plane, press the missile button. The camera shifts to an overhead view, and you’ll be ready to launch missiles at the enemy convoy.
