Crazy Taxi Classic

Crazy Taxi Classic is a fast, high-energy arcade game where you play as one of four “crazy” taxi drivers. Your job is to pick up passengers and deliver them to their destinations before time runs out—while experiencing what it’s like to live the taxi-driver life.

Runs are timed races. Each successful pickup earns you a small time bonus (a few extra seconds), so keep the momentum going. Earn money by delivering riders safely and quickly—aim to maximize your earnings before the clock hits zero.

Stay sharp on busy roads: drive skillfully through traffic, dodge other vehicles and obstacles, satisfy each passenger’s needs, and get to the meeting point to complete your job.

Gameplay

Crazy Taxi is a score-attack racing series originally published by SEGA in 1999. It began as an arcade release, then later made its way to SEGA’s Dreamcast console in 2000.

In this game, you take on the role of a taxi driver who must build earnings by delivering passengers in the shortest time possible. You can also earn extra tips by pulling off wild stunts before the timer runs out.
