A beginner-friendly tip is to lower the day speed from 100% to 50%. With this setting, each day typically lasts about 40 minutes, giving you enough time to handle your tasks. Later in the game, you can further shorten the days if needed.

Start Working With the Merfolk Early

One of the game’s core goals is ocean cleanup. Beyond helping by removing trash from the water, going deeper underwater lets you encounter the Merfolk Kingdom. New players should progress with the Merfolk not only to unlock new quests, but also to gather different types of kelp that can be found well beyond the kingdom itself. Kelp is typically used in crafting, and its essence can help upgrade seeds, seedlings, and the feed you give animals—leading to better crops and resources.
