Story

Coffee Buns is an 18+ Transformation Visual Novel set after the events of Mice Tea. Two years have passed since the worldwide release of Kemono Tea, a drink that transforms anyone who consumes it into anthropomorphic animals. Society is still getting used to the idea of real-life furries—but that doesn’t excuse you from having a job.

Leonardo Bianco works as a barista at a café that’s struggling to stay afloat. His boss believes that jumping onto the “furry” trend could bring in customers and help save the business. Through a connection at another nearby establishment (something returning players may recognize), Leo and his coworkers are offered the chance to try transforming themselves.

The tea works as promised—yet for Leonardo, the results include additional changes he definitely didn’t expect.

“I just LOVE this game—from the environment to the story, the way it’s presented, and the characters. It feels super cute, and the pacing is really nice; it never rushes. I also like that there aren’t truly ‘punishing’ choices—everything feels more like personal preference for who you want to spend time with. My only complaint is that there isn’t much (or any) gay/femboy content, which is a bit biased since I’m a femboy myself. Basically: if you like relaxed, cute games and you’re not specifically focused on the porn aspect, I’d strongly recommend it.”

“An early review here—only version 0.3.0, but coming from someone who loved Mice Tea, this already looks amazing. It feels less like traditional furry ‘porny’ content and more focused on TF/TG themes than Mice Tea did. If that’s not your thing, be aware. The writing and art are top-notch—fun, light, and funny. The characters are adorable and well-designed (I especially love how Naomi the deer girl wears hats by simply… hanging them on her antlers—so cute). I’m not sure what fetishes or other content will be explored beyond furry, TF, and TG, but I’ll keep following.”
