21-point poker is reimagined here—no longer bound to the usual rules. The game blends poker-style play with deep card-building strategy. Each suit grants distinct abilities, expanding the tactical choices you can make in every match.

You can use classic poker cards, but you can also master powerful tarot cards, passes that force your opponent to pause, and 21-point cards that can end a fight instantly.

Cards, decks, and tactical variety

There are 200+ cards to pick from, and each one has its own effect. Build a deck tailored to how you like to play—whether you’re playing it safe with familiar Aces or surprising everyone with unexpected combinations. Every draw and every decision becomes a test of both tactics and judgment.

Strategy Tips

Stalling can pay off—sometimes

Stalling for time can be a strong tactic, but the game has a catch. If the match stalls, the dealer can step in by handing both players multiple claw cards. In standard blackjack, playing long usually works against you due to the house edge. Here, however, stalling can reduce much of the harm you’d otherwise take from a bad turn.

That said, the AI generally struggles to respond to slow strategies. Many AIs follow fixed hit/stand patterns, which can make them bust more often and expose them to repeated pressure. Since many AIs lack counterplay for stalling (such as removing cards, adding junk, or cloning your strongest tools), you may be able to exploit the rhythm.

To prevent infinite loops and farming, the game eventually triggers a stalling safeguard: claw cards with infinite scaling are added to both decks each turn. Keep that in mind when deciding how long to drag a fight out.

Know both decks before you commit

In Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers, you effectively have perfect information about which cards remain in both your deck and your opponent’s. It’s easy to forget during the heat of a turn, but the advantage is huge.

For example, if your deck is down to a single card and you’re deciding whether to hit, you can check exactly what you’ll draw—and whether it will push you over the limit.

Reading your opponent isn’t only about “will they bust?” It’s about understanding the core plan behind their deck. Looking at their setup early (especially around turn one) helps you spot gimmick cards you need to watch for, and estimate the ratios that make certain outcomes more likely.

Many enemies center their entire strategy on a single key card. If you can lock down or counter that pivot card effectively, you can disrupt the plan they’re built to execute.
