The Walking Dead: Season Three Introduction
The Walking Dead: Season Three Step into a zombie-ravaged world as Javier searches for his family and meets grown-up Clementine. Survive relentless threats with third-person combat, gripping story choices, and detailed 3D environments.
The Walking Dead: Season Three
The Walking Dead: Season Three is a standout action-adventure experience set after civilization has collapsed. The Earth is overrun by zombies, and you’ll live through a tense survival story in richly detailed 3D environments.
You play as Javier, a new character in this season’s storyline, traveling through dangerous situations as you search for your family. Along the way, you meet Clementine—no longer a child, but a hardened young survivor. The game is built around scarcity, constant danger, and intense fights as you try to stay alive.
You can control the protagonist from a third-person view, pushing forward through dramatic battles and survival moments.

Engaging Storyline
This season puts you in Javier’s shoes. He wanders a post-apocalyptic world desperate to find his family—only to run into Clementine, who has grown into a resilient young woman shaped by suffering, loss, and betrayal.
Clementine isn’t just fighting for herself anymore. She now has to protect others as well. As the story unfolds, expect constant pressure and major surprises, including:
- Difficult moral decisions that can change outcomes
- Interactive scenes that require attention
- Unexpected deaths and escalating tension
- Consequences that can be permanent—even from small actions (for example, stealing or triggering an accident)

Season Three also lets you import your choices from earlier seasons, so the story can continue based on what you decided before.
Awesome Performance
This time around, you’ll have significant control over multiple aspects of the game, including the story, characters, technology, and environments.
If you want something challenging and intense in a realistic setting, The Walking Dead: Season Three is a strong pick.
More Than a Main Plot
Telltale Games has a long history of delivering high-quality titles for The Walking Dead series, and Season Three elevates the formula further. It includes:
- A new primary storyline centered on Javier
- Side stories that connect back to previous seasons
- A structure where the first half introduces new leads, while the second half brings back characters from earlier episodes
- Short stories, including one that helps wrap up an important thread

Everything is optimized to run smoothly on smartphones and tablets, so you can experience the season on the device you prefer.
The back half shifts toward introducing a brand-new key character, supported by flashback sequences tied to different points in the timeline. These scenes are essential for moving the plot forward. As with earlier Telltale games, some flashbacks are connected, allowing you to jump to specific moments in time when needed.
In The Walking Dead: Season Three, interacting with characters doesn’t just clarify the story—it also helps you communicate with other survivors after the apocalypse.
Excellent Features
Choices remain central throughout the experience. Some decisions are made for practical reasons, while others are driven by personal ethics. In many ways, the choices feel like real life: the outcomes can be unpredictable, and sometimes there simply isn’t a “clean” option.
This is not a world where you can simply be a hero and win. Instead, the game keeps tension high, and even a moment of comfort can be shattered instantly by something ruthless.
Note: silence can feel especially powerful in the third part of the season.
Chapter Structure & Pacing
In general, the first chapter feels stronger than the second. If you compare them chapter-by-chapter, the first chapter scores higher.
That said, from a broader structural view, the first and second chapters work together as the upper and lower halves of a prologue to Season Three. This may explain why Telltale packaged multiple chapters—totaling over three hours—into a single release.
Compared to earlier parts, the overall experience becomes more exciting after the third installment begins.
QTE (Quick Time Events)
Quick Time Event sections still appear as an optional gameplay element. Their presentation is influenced by The Walking Dead: Michonne, making them feel more expressive and dynamic than in the first two seasons.

While the QTEs aren’t overly hard, some prompts require very fast reactions—so if you aren’t paying attention, you can still trigger a game over.
