Godus Introduction

Godus Godus is a captivating god simulation where you sculpt landscapes, manage resources, and grow your own civilization. Earn faith, unlock miracles, and guide followers through ever-expanding 3D lands with ongoing updates.

Godus

Godus

Godus is a popular god-simulator where you shape your own world—designing the landscape, managing resources, guiding the rise of your civilization, and creating a distinct “race” of followers. You also have access to built-in tools that can deliver blessings or trigger disasters. As your people develop, they grow more devoted and earn faith, unlocking additional gameplay options along the way. The game is still receiving updates and performance improvements, with new races and mechanics added to keep the experience fresh and comfortable.

Godus

Key Features

  • Explore many lands

Godus takes place in a stunning 3D world where you can keep expanding your reach. Early on, you may explore your homeland—the starting area where followers first arrive, settle, and begin building. You can also visit Astariville, home to the Astari, who serve as major opponents to your followers. Each region offers new sights and different groups to encounter as you progress.

  • Inspire your followers

Followers are the heart of the game. They carry out tasks that grow and advance your civilization. Your first followers arrive after you save a man and a woman, and from there they can reproduce additional followers for you. Followers fall into different roles—such as breeders (who enable new generations) and farmers (who work fields to produce wheat and grains). Beyond these, many other follower types perform specialized jobs.

  • Use incredible god powers

As a god, you command “miracles” (god powers) that let you reshape the world. You can alter terrain and rivers, call down purity rain to help crops and trees thrive, or beautify your world so it flourishes. You can also motivate your followers to expand and even clean up crowded areas. New miracles can unlock as you gain access to more divine abilities.

  • Grow your civilization

Your civilization depends on resources and the people who gather them. Followers include farmers who produce crops and grain, and miners who construct mining settlements to generate ore. Even with good workers, you’ll still need to use your powers to support them and increase the flow of needed resources.

Highlights

Godus

  • Miracles and Powers

Playing as a god in Godus means using a range of divine miracles. You can influence the weather, push crops to grow faster, or shield your followers from natural disasters. These miracles require belief, which is built through your followers’ happiness and worship. Deciding when to cast miracles—and making sure your civilization’s needs are met—creates a strategic layer to the experience.

  • Boost your employees’ morale

Keep morale high on a regular basis. Workers who feel demotivated (or fatigued) take longer to complete tasks, and in Godus they may even fall asleep. Since you don’t want to spend gems waking them up, tap on them and choose Boost to keep them energized.

  • Encourage your employees

If you tap any worker, a boost option should appear. Make it a habit to boost often—if you don’t, morale drops, tasks slow down, and employees may choose to sleep instead of working. At that point you’ll either need to trade diamonds to wake them up or wait. Staying consistent with boosts helps ensure your followers remain productive and satisfied.

  • Fight against the computer

AI battles happen in the Mountain of the Gods, which becomes available after you repair the Temple of Battles. To start a fight, click the restored temple. So far, only a limited set of matchups has been released: ten in the Primitive Age and ten in the Bronze Age. In the game lobby, AI opponents appear as “unreal gamers” and invite you to battle.

During these encounters, you can’t choose a specific card or fight type. However, you can choose how many Followers you want to begin with. After each bout, you receive a reward card—typically a unique God Card and/or a Progress Card that may be needed later. Often, the gift also includes two or three random Resource Cards.

Strategies

  • Boost your workers

Workers tire out and morale declines over time. Prevent this by tapping them and selecting Boost. This helps them finish tasks faster and can increase their happiness as well.

  • Get diamonds more easily

To earn diamonds with less hassle, unlock the Swamp Card. With it, you can create swamps on Astari settlements. This disrupts the area and allows you to retrieve diamonds from their temples—because not all divine acts are meant to be kind.

  • Destroy older houses
