Underwater racing

Choose one of two racers—Impact (male) or Poison (female)—and enter underwater races in Riptide GP: Renegade. At first glance, the structure feels familiar compared to other racing games: you still race to win, chase speed, and navigate turns.

The main twist is obvious: instead of roads, you travel through water, and instead of cars or bikes, your vehicle is a canoe. However, underwater racing isn’t just a reskin of land racing—it behaves very differently.

As soon as you steer, you’ll feel the water’s turbulence. Your vehicle shakes more and control becomes harder. Even the curves work differently. To turn correctly, you have to tilt much more than you would on land. If you rely only on experience from typical racing titles and try to apply it directly, you may struggle to adapt to how this game really works—so it’s best to learn the rules from the start.
