Story

Evertale unfolds in a mythical fantasy realm where strange, legendary events can happen at any time. You take on the role of one of the world’s heroes, tasked with freeing Eden from a deadly threat known as Pandemonium.

Everything traces back to a single turning point: Eden—the beautiful land once compared to the garden of Eden—can now feel the end approaching. The entire region has been haunted by an ancient, dark curse called Pandemonium.

Pandemonium originally served as a shield, created by ancient ancestors to keep evil sealed away and prevent the devil from crossing over. But for unknown reasons, the seal has weakened. It’s no longer strong enough to stop evil from spreading. Now, people wait for the “gate” to break—so the heavenly world can be entered.

Only the Crestbearers, heroes born with a sacred mission, can halt the fading of Pandemonium and stop the invasion of demons. Yet many Crestbearers rushed forward and were defeated at great cost. The forces of light have faltered, hoping that truly legendary heroes will finally appear.

Your role is to become one of those special heroes. Your journey begins with taking on “good” monsters, training them into powerful allies to help you fight back against the evil swarm closing in from every direction.

To save Eden, you’ll team up with younger heroes and other allies you meet along the way. The road is dangerous and demanding, but it’s not impossible. Your success depends on staying sharp in battle—maintaining an advantage and learning how to fully use the monster forces at your disposal. Do that, and you’ll be able to travel the world, break the ancient curse, and finally rescue your hometown of Eden.
