Nexomon is a popular casual game that drops you into a magical world where you’ll use your charm and quick thinking to capture more than 300 different Nexomon. Build strong teams, then fight hard against a wide variety of opponents. Gameplay

The gameplay is both simple and surprisingly engaging. You’ll complete missions using a squad of six creatures, and each creature belongs to one of nine types.

To progress, you’ll need to explore the world, interact with objects, and talk to NPCs who assist the main character. Along the way, some NPC interactions can lead to fights where you face both hostile actions and wild Nexomon.

Turn-Based Battles

Battles are turn-based and involve two sides. Each side can field up to six creatures in total. Your Nexomon differ in type, moves, and they have Health and Stamina bars.

• Each of a Nexomon’s four attacks uses Stamina.
• If Stamina gets too low or a Nexomon’s Health reaches 0, it must rest before it can attack again.
• You win once the enemy team is fully worn out and can’t continue effectively.

Wild Nexomon: Feeding and Capturing

Fights against wild Nexomon follow a familiar style, similar to Pokémon, but with two key twists:

• Feeding: during battle, you can give wild Nexomon food to build friendliness.
• Capturing: after that, you can attempt to catch them using a Nexotrap.

Nexotraps come with different capture chances. To improve your odds, you’ll also need to finish a short mini-game that uses the A/B/Y/X buttons. If you succeed, the creature joins your team.

“I’ve been a Pokémon fan for years, and when I found this game, it looked really interesting—turns out it’s genuinely fun. I’m already hooked. I do have a couple of issues, though. Since the last update was about a year ago, I’m not sure there will be another update to fix these problems, but I hope the devs see feedback and improve the game. First, there’s no clear map to guide you—sometimes I spend minutes to nearly an hour figuring out where to go next for a quest, which gets frustrating. Second, there’s no obvious way to tell when or which Nexomon will evolve, and it’s annoying leveling one up without any clue.”
