Playing Tips
- Cricket is played with two teams of 11 players each, split into two innings.
- Not every player is on the field at once—during an innings, all 11 players of the batting side take part. When a batter is out, they are replaced by a teammate until the tenth batsman is eliminated.
- The 11 opponents on the other side focus on defending the field.
- After the break, teams switch roles and return to the pitch with batting and fielding reversed.
- The goal is to score as many points as possible while preventing your side from being eliminated.
- You can’t score points or eliminate opposing batters while they are at the pitch.
- The team that scores the most points wins.
How running and scoring works: Batters line up in front of the two wickets. The bowler (at either end of the pitch) delivers to the batter at the opposite end. When the batter connects, they can run along the pitch and swap places with the partner. Each run is worth 1 point. If the hit is strong enough to send the ball out of the field, it’s worth 4 points. If the ball flies out without touching the ground, you earn 6 points.
Extensive Enjoyment & Match Realism
WCC2 aims to simulate real cricket conditions. Weather and player emotions can influence how the match plays out. If you bowl recklessly or take risky delivery lines, higher-level matches may even lead to injuries. You also get a wide selection of game modes, 18 international teams, and 40+ stadiums to keep matches feeling fresh.
