Gameplay Tips for Football Master 2

1) Choose defenders early for an advantage

At the start, you’ll notice that many players coming from the 7 Day Login Rewards and VIP are usually forwards or midfielders. Because of this, picking a defender right at the beginning can give you a strong early edge.

Later on, when National Bonding becomes available, focusing on defenders from Spain, England, France, Germany, or South America is especially helpful.

2) Focus on leveling and team strength first

In your early phase, the biggest priority is to level up and strengthen your squad. Aim to clear Regular Leagues through the Career mode while earning 3 stars on each attempt. Doing so rewards you with plenty of S-tier (and higher) players (and also lots of GEMs).

During matches, once you’ve set your best tactics, you can skip the gameplay to still secure 3-star results.

3) Use quests to gain Tactic Books and Training Cards

Complete tasks/quests to obtain Tactic Books and Training Cards. After you receive a Tactic Book, use it to learn tactics—and upgrade them evenly rather than neglecting certain ones.

Don’t hoard Training Cards. Instead, use them to level up your S and S+ players to accelerate your team’s growth. As your strength rises, you’ll be able to keep pushing through more Regular League matches and obtain stronger players.

4) When Friendly Matches are available, use them strategically

Once Elite Leagues open, don’t jump in immediately. Keep grinding Regular Leagues as far as possible until you reach a point where progress stalls. Then switch to Friendly Matches.

Friendly Matches are a major source of euros. Also pay attention to the Win Streak Reward: the longer your winning streak, the more euros you earn. Spend those euros to improve your players in Training, and then return to Regular Leagues again.

5) Move to Elite Leagues once Regular progress stops

When you feel you can’t advance further in Regular Leagues, start working on Elite Leagues. These can unlock Honor Medals through related tasks. When National Bonding is active, these medals/items can further boost your team strength.

Also, by defeating the final team in each Elite League, you may earn a Team Application Letter. For the first evaluation (called Board Evaluation), collecting 5 letters increases both Attack and Defense strength by 100. More evaluations require more letters and provide larger strength boosts.
