Astrid: Blade Of Vallundra Introduction
Astrid: Blade Of Vallundra Play as Astrid, Vallundra’s fiercest knight, battling a legion of demons in turn-based fights. Use skills, face challenging bosses, and uncover the Demon Lord’s threat—can you save the kingdom?
Astrid: Blade Of Vallundra
Follow Astrid, the mightiest female knight of the Vallundra Kingdom, as she sets out to drive back demons and face the Demon King. Along the way, you’ll meet a wide variety of demonic foes. Combat is turn-based, so victory depends on using different skills effectively—while also enduring the risky, taunting attacks the demons throw at you.
Can you stay in control? If you’re defeated or give in to temptation, the game triggers intense, animated scenes that spiral into capture by the Demon King’s army and a descent into the abyss of desire. In the end, will Astrid be able to save her kingdom?

Player Comments
- Strong foundation: Clear gameplay and a lot of content that doesn’t feel like endless grinding or waiting for scripts to play out. The outfit changes are a nice touch, and it would be even better if combat equipment were visually shown on the main character during swaps.
- Economy feels odd: Some prices don’t quite make sense (for example, overnight stays are cheap while potions cost more than equipment).
- Leveling clarity: It isn’t obvious whether you start immediately at level 95 or if it follows a more classic progression.
- Combat visuals: The attack animation with emphasis on the heroine’s underwear felt strange to one reviewer.
- Enemy variety and pacing: Some enemies can be defeated too easily in one blow (only taking small health loss), and players wanted more complete battles rather than frequent quick victories.
- More weapon types requested: Suggestions include adding additional weapon categories (daggers, bows, staves, etc.) for more variety, plus a clearer leveling system for the main character.
- Overall satisfaction: One player reports having paid nothing yet calling it one of the best RPGs they’ve played in the last year, praising stability with Joiplay and being impressed with the quality of the available content.
- Dialogue and pacing: Another review highlights that dialogues aren’t overly intrusive and reveal the game’s fantasy world, knights, and monsters effectively. Following only the main storyline (including dialogue) is estimated at about 4 hours to reach the end.
- Art and environments: CGs, storytelling, and environments are described as visually appealing and detailed—though the reviewer notes this is most noticeable in the starting area.
- Bug noted: When a merchant is thrown out a window and you wait a day in the tavern, the merchant doesn’t respawn in the usual location.
- Future hopes: Players encourage continued development and more content additions.
