Using augmented reality (AR), the app lets you measure objects through your phone camera. Just point the camera at what you want to measure and the dimensions appear directly on your screen. There’s no need to touch the object and no complicated aiming—AR does the heavy lifting. It’s a lot more reliable than guessing with your eyes.

Three measurements in one

Need the size of a cabinet, the height of a wall, or the width of a bed? Normally you’d grab a ruler, bend down, and hope someone can hold it steady. If you measure wrong, it can ruin the whole job. With the AR Ruler App, it’s straightforward: open the app, choose the measurement type, then drag from the starting point to the ending point. The result shows up almost instantly. Best of all, the dimensions you can display appear right in front of you—length, width, and height included.

Area and volume measurement
