GoPro Quik beginner guide

Step 1

From the main GoPro Quik screen, tap the plus (+) icon to choose videos or photos from your device. If you select an image to make a video, make sure you pick at least 5 photos.

Step 2

After choosing your file, you’ll see multiple small colored rectangular options below the video. These are the app’s built-in themes. Try a few to find the style you like best.

Step 3

Use the editing icons on the screen. There are three main types of icons (small squares, notes, and rectangular play-style buttons), and each one performs a different function—so explore them before committing.

Step 4

When the edit is finished, tap OK to return to the main interface. Then tap Save to export your video.

You can also upload the new video directly to social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger.
