Notebooks made in Goodnotes can be edited in GoodNotes 5. However, features that are exclusive to Goodnotes may not appear in GoodNotes 5. For instance, if you create a folder with a custom icon and color (a feature exclusive to Goodnotes) and then switch back to GoodNotes 5, the folder will still be there—but the custom icon and color won’t carry over.
