Preply awards the Super Tutor badge to tutors who have particularly impressed users over a recent period. If a tutor meets the criteria during that time, they receive the badge and keep it until the next evaluation period.

Should I only choose a Super Tutor?

Preply has thousands of excellent tutors, and not all of them will qualify for the Super Tutor badge. Even so, the badge is a strong sign of professionalism and consistent dedication over the past few months.

Where will my lessons take place?

Most lessons happen in the Preply Classroom, Preply’s built-for-online-learning video-chat platform. If a lesson can’t be completed in the Preply Classroom (rare cases), you’ll be directed to your chosen video messenger.

Can I get a refund if I forgot to cancel before my renewal?

If no lessons from the new cycle have been used yet, start a chat as soon as possible. Refund eligibility depends on the timing and usage.

My payment method is no longer active—what happens to my refund?

Refunds are returned to the original payment method only. Unfortunately, Preply can’t redirect a refund to a different payment method.

What is Preply Classroom?

Preply Classroom is a virtual lesson space designed with everything you need. Learners and tutors can communicate through video chat and Messenger, upload files, take notes, and share screens—without leaving Preply.
