By day, you’ll construct fortresses and defensive buildings to hold back the endless enemy waves. Then at night, you’ll command your forces to survive the assault and earn valuable rewards you can use to strengthen your defenses. As the game goes on, you’ll need to manage resources carefully, balancing your towers, knight units, and your economy to keep your kingdom stable.

You play as Lord James, a capable leader with a clear vision for developing his realm. To defend against monster raids at night, you’ll need a reliable defensive setup. Solid walls and high watchtowers form the first barrier, helping stop enemies from entering.

You’ll also construct and upgrade towers with different attack styles—such as missile towers, flame-throwing towers, and magic towers. Smart trap placement around your territory can slow enemy movement and improve your odds of victory.

Recruiting an army is just as important. Assemble knights, archers, and mages, since each unit type has abilities suited to specific enemies and combat situations. You can also recruit legendary heroes, each bringing a special power that increases the combined strength of your forces.

Helpful Tips

Prioritize Building Houses

When you defeat enemies, village houses generate coins. After each wave, level 1 houses return 1 coin each, and the payout increases as you level the houses up. Because there’s a set, pre-determined area where houses can be placed, it’s your decision whether to build them before a fight.

Houses are cheaper than towers, and in the early stages enemies aren’t very strong. Build lots of houses first, then handle battles yourself while you generate income.

Build Enough Towers

Defense towers automatically shoot arrows at enemies. Use them to strengthen your base—but remember to favor village houses first. In later stages, once you’ve earned decent money from early waves, you can build additional defense towers. After you save enough and complete a few waves, you can also upgrade towers to increase both their damage and HP.

Keep Upgrading Your Castle

Your castle upgrades are essential for everything else. Without upgrading, you can’t fully benefit from the strategies above—so make sure you keep your castle improving as the game progresses.
