Tank Stars Introduction
Tank Stars Tank Stars is a 2D tank action strategy game where fuel-powered turns and precise aiming decide the outcome. Fire shells that reshape terrain, exploit unique tank weapons, win battles, earn coins, and unlock new tanks.
Tank Stars
Tank Stars is a 2D action game where you take control of different tanks and battle opponents on changing battlefields. Each tank has its own weapons and skills, so your build choices matter. During combat, you spend tank fuel to move, then use turn-based aiming to pick the right direction and fire accurately. Landing better shots deals more damage, helps you win fights, and earns coins you can use to unlock new tanks.
When you fire a shell, it doesn’t just hit the enemy—it also affects the terrain. The ground can cave in after impacts, making future shots harder and forcing you to adapt. The game also includes many different maps that are updated regularly, so learning how each battlefield behaves can lead to more consistent victories.
Tanks You Can Collect

You start with a basic tank, but you can unlock more as you progress. Every tank brings its own abilities and play style. Some popular options include:
- Frost Tank: Often considered one of the strongest choices. Uses assault drones and frostbite abilities that slow enemies.
- Blazer: A powerful early tank with reliable firepower.
- Atomic Tank: Comes with a mini-nuke plus abilities like tornado and radiation.
- Toxic Tank: Uses acid volcano and corrosion attacks, dealing heavy damage over time.
- Spectre: A strong late-game tank that’s worth saving up for.

You can also obtain tanks using gems. Some tanks may be purchasable for coins as you advance through levels.
Key Features of Tank Stars

- Each turn lets you reposition a short distance using fuel.
- After moving, set the angle and power, then watch the shot’s flight path.
- On the next turn, you can fine-tune your shot and placement.
- The game rewards steady aim—even small changes in the terrain can affect outcomes.

Weapons and Upgrades
- You’ll have access to a variety of munitions including rockets, bombs, and special ammo.
- Choose equipment based on range, terrain, and armor.
- Earn coins from matches to strengthen your loadout, improving both damage and usefulness.
- The right weapon choice can decide a duel quickly.
Online Battles and Tournaments
- Jump into quick online PvP for direct one-on-one battles.
- Tournament mode typically means longer runs, tougher opponents, and extra rewards.
- Prefer practice? Play offline to work on aiming and timing.
- This variety helps you adjust your pace depending on what you need.
Strategy Tips
- Pick weapons that match your confidence: If you’re unsure you can hit from long range, try options that spread or can split. These reduce the chance of a complete miss, though they may deal less damage.
- Don’t be afraid to get closer: Using your limited fuel to close the distance can be a strong move. Aside from making yourself an easier target, getting close usually brings fewer problems than staying far away.
- Use full power when attacking: You can adjust aim from the right side of the screen, but you can also change power there. This control may not be clearly explained in the tutorial, but it’s important.
- Aim for direct hits: A direct hit on the enemy tank counts as a perfect hit and deals much more damage than a normal impact.
- Buy cards during sales: If cards appear in the shop, grab them. Cards are harder to obtain, and the store prices are relatively low.
- Watch ads for free rewards: Tank Stars rewards you generously for watching ads, so it’s worth doing whenever you can. Free cards and chests can add up over time.
- Select the best weapon before firing: When you’re about to shoot, tap the weapon and make sure you’ve selected the best one—the best option is the one with the most stars.
Player Comments
- “Hi! My favorite childhood game is updated. I found some bugs and glitches though. When I choose a Frost tank and click start, after shooting and hitting the enemy, it shows a bug where the Frost tank has 4 tank cannons for no reason. At the start and in the lobby it shows 2. Also, the aiming button feels a bit glitchy. And FrostBlast feels weak even after the max upgrade while the tank is on bronze. I hope you fix these. Still, 5 stars for my childhood game.”
- “Awesome games you’ve made—can I have a free tank? I’ll do anything!!!! but not pay taxes, I’m just a kid! Also, can you make a game about making burgers and fresh fries? If you add game passes, can I have one? And what would it be called? Maybe ‘Bugers and Frys Ready!’ The main character would be a stick man in a suit, collect money, upgrade the shop, drive-through, and pick up orders.”
