Summoner's Greed: Idle TD Hero Introduction
Summoner's Greed: Idle TD Hero Play as a young mage in Summoner's Greed: Idle TD Hero, an arcade idle tower defense where blue-crystal summons and upgrades help you stop monsters and protect magical artifacts.
Summoner's Greed: Idle TD Hero
Summoner's Greed: Idle TD Hero is an arcade-style idle tower defense game. It combines eye-catching visuals with distinctive defense mechanics, taking you on an exciting adventure. You play as a young mage responsible for guarding valuable magical artifacts. Your job is to fight back against monsters and protect your treasure.
During each battle, you’ll need to reposition defensive towers, cast devastating spells, and survive relentless attack waves led by the kingdom’s strongest heroes. You can also evolve and upgrade your units to boost damage, improve crowd control, and strengthen supportive effects.
Gameplay
Summoner’s Greed uses a tower defense system that feels different from many other games in the same category. Instead of earning money by killing enemies to summon and upgrade defenses, you take a more controlled approach.
Summoning with blue crystals:
- Use blue crystals to summon monsters.
- Place the summoned units into the available defense boxes on the field.
- Summons are random, so what you get depends heavily on luck.

Blue crystals can be difficult to obtain without watching ads or spending real money. Because of that, early levels can feel tough. The good news is that you can balance quantity with quality: upgrade your defensive monsters using gold earned from defeating attackers.
Relying only on raw numbers can quickly lead to chaos in your formations. Use strategy, choose good placements, and play smart to clear levels and push toward victory.

Characters, Sides, and Powers
The game features a large roster of characters. On the defensive monster side alone, there are around 24 characters, while the attacking forces include a massive number of knights. There are also other monsters that don’t fit neatly into either side—they may wander in and sometimes deliver valuable rewards.
Defensive monsters
- Each defensive monster has its own unique power and special ability (for example, increasing damage or applying negative effects to enemies).
- You can evolve monsters to make them stronger, but doing so requires substantial resources.
Attacking knights
- You’ll often face small soldiers who kick off the assault.
- Other enemies appear larger and may have skills that can break rocks.
- These attackers typically don’t follow the magician’s path.
- Large knights can act as bosses for the level.
- Sometimes, the attackers receive buffs that greatly raise their defense—so expect them to be harder to destroy during those moments.
Features

- Summon powerful entities: Battle resources help you bring in strong monsters to eliminate threats.
- Many powerful races: Various mystical species can join you—such as hellhounds.
- Diverse tactics: If you have enough resources, summon more units to reinforce your defenses.
- Use magical abilities: As a mage, you can deploy magic to wipe out enemies on a large scale.
- Handle tough situations: When the enemy count gets overwhelming, pick the right position and cast the appropriate skills.
Game Highlights
- Dozens of monsters and towers to summon
- Defend against endless waves of heroes and bosses
- Each monster has its own unique abilities and secondary powers
- Upgrade towers to improve effectiveness
- Collect common, rare, epic, and legendary monsters
- Fight various enemy heroes, each with distinct skills
Tips & Tricks
- Start the campaign and place your first defenders near choke points, then add a basic spell to manage early waves.
- Study enemy routes and reposition units between waves to improve range and coverage, while saving mana for boss-focused bursts.
- After each stage, spend coins and magical orbs on core upgrades for two to three key units, and unlock a support slot.
- Try elemental pairings—for example, use Ice to slow enemies and Fire to deal damage—and adjust spells to match the enemy lineup.
- Enter the Arena and limited-time events to earn extra resources, and rotate teams to counter new mechanics as the game difficulty ramps up.

Visuals, Audio, and Overall Experience
The game delivers a polished audiovisual experience that matches its engaging gameplay. It features charming, vibrant 2D graphics with a playful fantasy vibe—colorful locations, detailed character designs, and visually striking spell effects. You’ll also enjoy its immersive music and sound effects.
