Feed and Grow Fish Introduction
Feed and Grow Fish Start as a tiny fish in a vast ocean, eat algae and smaller prey to grow bigger, and unlock new abilities. Play single-player or multiplayer deathmatch, buy fish with gold, and compete to rule the sea.
Feed and Grow Fish

Feed and Grow Fish is a survival evolution game set in a huge open ocean. You begin as a tiny fish, then keep eating smaller algae and weaker fish to grow bigger. As you expand, you also pick up new fish abilities—pushing you toward the goal of ruling the ocean.
The game includes both single-player and multiplayer experiences. In multiplayer, you can adjust game settings freely, including fish price, fish type, EXP gain, and speed. Invite friends, compete side by side, and see who becomes the strongest.
The developers plan ongoing updates and optimizations, with more scenes, additional gameplay modes, and new fish added over time.
Gameplay Modes
Deathmatch

In Deathmatch, the rules are straightforward:
- If you eat food, you earn gold.
- You can earn up to 1000 gold per map.
- Use your gold to buy other fish.
- With the exception of free fish, Deathmatch fish are disposable, so you must buy them again after dying or leaving the match.
Key strengths of Deathmatch:
- It’s easy to level up.
- As you level, your ability range expands significantly.
- Even very small fish (like tropical fish or piranhas) can challenge and defeat mid- to large-sized fish such as sharks, as long as their level has reached around 20–30, despite the size difference.
- Any fish can become stronger beyond its starting size and skill level.
Boss unlocks (river/sea/large maps): On larger maps such as river, sea, and great, certain fish become available after you defeat the boss. You can also spend gold to play.
Multiplayer
Multiplayer is available.
- Open the multiplayer tab to either host a server or browse available servers.
- The server creator can set how quickly EXP fills, the maximum level, which fish are allowed, fish prices, fish types, and how many enemy fish spawn.
- You can also specify fish that appear only as mobs (for example: Goldfish, Blue, Frog) that players can target.

Chat and viewing stats: English chat is supported. You can check other players’ fish and levels by pressing the Tab key.
Note: Some players report that the Tab key may wait for the server and fail to respond in certain situations.
Survival
Survival is a mode focused on a more realistic underwater ecosystem.
Main fish per map: Each map features 3 main fish. These are distinct fish that can be played only on that specific map.
Objective: Each main fish must complete a chain of quests without dying.
- When you complete a quest using one main fish, a star appears at the fish’s location to confirm success.
- Difficulty varies by the quest and map. While clear conditions are generally manageable, higher difficulties often include things like more AI and longer boosts.
- As you progress through maps, difficulty typically rises. Enemies and quest setups also change from map to map.
Rewards: Earned stars let you unlock additional fish usable in Survival. Unlike Deathmatch fish, once you unlock them, you can use them without limits and at no cost.
How to access unlocked fish: After unlocking rewards, you can view and play them by returning to the main fish selection screen and pressing the fish select option again.
Progression differences vs Deathmatch:
- Survival starts you as a baby fish.
- As a baby, you have no skills.
- Stats are very low (except for movement speed).
- When you level up to a certain point, you grow into an adult form.
- For some fish, further leveling allows them to fully grow and breed.
- After growing up, you can use all abilities you’ve gained.
Useful Tips

- Begin with the tutorial to learn the basics.
- Explore every map to discover hidden areas.
- Try to eat everything you see that you can safely handle.
- Early on, focus on smaller fish—this helps you grow faster and gain strength sooner.
- Avoid being eaten by larger fish. If you’re attacked, swim away quickly.
- Stay near areas with lots of small fish to maintain a steady food supply.
- Use the environment to your advantage. Swimming near plants can help you hide from predators.
- Use power-ups carefully. They may temporarily boost your size or speed, but they can also attract bigger fish.
- Make smart use of your boost opportunities.
- Use the map to plan your routes and positioning.
- Try to stay alive for as long as possible.
- Play in short sessions when possible.
- Don’t be afraid to experiment with different strategies and approaches.

Player Feedback
- “I really enjoy this game, but since December 2021 the developers haven’t updated it.” Even so, it’s still fun after years without updates.
- “It may not work on some PCs.” Aside from a couple issues, the game is still enjoyable.
- Maps (4 total): River, Swamp, Reef, and Great.
- Fish variety: As of 2024, there are many different playable fish and aquatic creatures. Most animals look fairly realistic, though a few have a more cartoony style.
