Player Comments

“I liked a lot about the game, but there were also many things that bothered me. The sandbox element, for one—it felt more like a collection of small anecdotes than real freedom. I originally came for that promise, but quickly realized the game wasn’t really focusing on it.

“Some parts—yes, I read everything—felt too heavy or unnecessary, and they slowed down the narrative pace. I even considered skipping ahead several times. What kept me playing, though, were the beautiful character models and the fact that the story seems to have some real potential.

On My Way Home

“It isn’t fully original—you’ve seen similar setups in many games, movies, and comics—but the writing has a bit of strength thanks to certain philosophical and fatalistic lines. That said, you have to ignore some more surface-level dialogue that discusses topics we don’t really care about and doesn’t always serve the plot.

“It’s also hard to judge the main character’s personality, because this ‘dual side’ shows up, but it would benefit from more depth. There are only two chapters, and you can tell some things are being held back for later—yet for now it feels a bit too easy.

“I suspect I missed a lot of the X scenes based on the gallery. The choices aren’t clear, and that makes it hard to understand where both the narrative and character direction are going. It’s a shame—because the X content can feel like it’s included only because it’s an AVN. If you remove it, it wouldn’t change much right now. On the other hand, it does add a more realistic touch that improves immersion, so I understand why it’s included.

“Projects like this should be supported. Even though I would’ve preferred a true sandbox, more freedom, and maybe fewer ‘thoughts’ from the characters, that’s just my personal opinion and doesn’t fully take away from the experience. Overall, it feels decent—I’ve seen much worse lately…”
