Useful Tips

• Know Your Hiding Spots:

  One of the easiest ways to survive when Chica, Monty, Roxy, or other heavy-hitting animatronics are nearby is to use the Pizzaplex’s many hiding options. You’ll find hiding spots in different shapes and sizes, including lockers, bins, laundry baskets, pushchairs, food stalls, photo booths, and even spots involving Freddy.

  The game doesn’t always spell out where you can hide, so you’ll need to figure it out yourself. Learning early which places work (and which don’t) can save you a lot of trouble later. In the main areas of the Pizzaplex, the key hiding spots to remember include service baskets (often shown in the central image), bins (shown on the right in the example image), photo booths, and pushchairs (shown on the left in the example image).

  Entering hiding spots can also be a little touchy. When you approach, line up so you’re facing the spot directly, and make sure the on-screen prompt like “Press Square / E to hide” is visible. Avoid tapping the hide button twice during entry—doing so can interrupt and cancel the animation.

• Rely on Your Cameras:

  Tracking animatronics while you’re sneaking around can be stressful. They move quickly, and the layout of each area allows them to vanish and reappear without warning. The good news is you have a tool they don’t: camera access.

  Once you get used to the system, cameras become one of your strongest tools. While you remain safely hidden, you can check locations, plan routes through the environment, and move with more confidence. Even if the camera system feels awkward at first, it can make harder encounters far more manageable.

  

  If you’re trying to reach a new area without drawing attention, do this: enter a hiding spot, open the cameras, find the animatronic you need to avoid, plot a path to another hiding location, then move. Repeat as needed until you’re out of danger.

• Listen to Animatronics to Stay Aware:

  During your time in Security Breach, animatronics constantly make noise—almost like they’re trying to get your attention. They’ll chatter and taunt you when they can. Even though some insults (like Roxanne’s jokes) can feel brutal, you can still use their comments and sounds as signals to help track where they are.
