• If you’re in a lit area and it’s about to spot you, run—preferably with a zig-zag route if possible.
• If a pursuer sees you enter a room, it will enter too.
• If it doesn’t see you and you hide without being noticed, it likely won’t find you.
• Some pursuers may be careless. If you’re out of options, you can try hiding behind a barrel—cover your face. If the pursuer is far enough, it may not notice you.
• If you hear the terror meter (you can find it via YouTube), it usually means you’re about to be detected—run. The pursuer has seen you.
• When a pursuer is actively searching and a specific tense music starts (search YouTube for the “Danger” music for the Grunt and Brute), wait for it to end. When normal ambience returns, the pursuer is no longer lurking.
