My Girlfriend And My Nightmare
In My Girlfriend And My Nightmare, you reconnect with an old friend and, because money is tight, end up living together. Yet even with this new closeness, nothing immediately unfolds—especially as grief still hangs over the main character after the sudden death of his ex-girlfriend. Can you push through that pain and slowly rebuild a real, emotional bond with your friend? The answer depends entirely on the choices you make.
As the story progresses, you’ll unlock a variety of H-scenes with your companion, bringing fresh, intense moments and unexpected thrills. If you enjoy adult visual novel-style games, My Girlfriend And My Nightmare is one you shouldn’t skip.
Key Features
Consequences That Come Back
- If you reject a memory, it doesn’t stay gone—later it returns as a haunting encounter.
- If you comfort Nala, her trust grows deeper, changing how she handles Alan’s past.
Branching Story Paths

- There are 10+ endings, influenced by how empathetic you are toward Nala and Clara.
- Even seemingly small actions—like ignoring a letter—can trigger ripple effects later.
Psychological Pressure
- Alan’s condition worsens over time: his posture sinks, his dialogue becomes more broken, and the more trauma remains unresolved, the more his hesitation shapes what happens next.
Time Is Fragile
- Puzzles require you to revisit distorted memories of Clara.
- Time loops force you to redo past decisions, but every attempt to “fix” things can create new, unintended outcomes.
Dual Perspectives
- You can interact with Nala’s present and Clara’s ghostly world at the same time.
- Sometimes their missions overlap in ways that demand conflicting priorities.
A Soundtrack Made of Dread
- A minimalist score swells or fades based on Alan’s emotional state.
- Clara’s voice lingers in gameplay—an intentional design meant to keep unsettling feelings around even after you stop playing.
What You’ll Notice
Dialogue Choices With Real Weight
Every decision affects your relationship with the protagonist, his emotional condition, and the overall direction of the plot. Some paths stay calm, while others steer the story toward darker, more intense outcomes.
Psychological Puzzle Segments
Nightmare sections often include symbolic puzzles and hidden clues tied to the protagonist’s deepest fears. Solving them not only helps you move forward, but also reveals deeper truths.
Beautiful, Expressive Artwork
Character design, atmosphere effects, and dreamlike environments blend romance with mystery. Soft tones are used for real-world moments, while darker colors bring the nightmares to life.
Android Performance That Stays Lightweight
The APK build is optimized for a wide range of devices, offering smooth performance, offline play, and quick installation without requiring high-end hardware.
Many Endings to Explore
Depending on your choices, the story may conclude with love, separation, tragedy, or revelation. This encourages replaying the game to uncover every narrative route.

Changelog
Hello everyone! I hope you’re doing well!

I’m sharing a small update today. It’s so short that I didn’t even consider labeling it as version 0.5, but it does: fix several bugs and add new content—both for gameplay and for the story—that I think you’ll enjoy.
I also want to sincerely apologize for the small update. I had some complications this month, and that made everything harder than expected. Because you support this project, I always try to make sure any release feels worthwhile. Honestly, I wasn’t even planning to put out anything this month, so being able to assemble this little update already feels like a win. I hope you understand.
How to Access the New Content
(To activate the new content: open Clara’s menu and interact with “fuck Clara” while she is transformed into Anne. After that, the new tasks should appear.)

Bug Reporting
If you run into any issues—especially if you see the message “wait for the next update” even though tasks are available—please let me know. I updated Ren’Py and I’m using a new logic system to activate tasks, so I’m still not 100% sure how everything will behave.
Updates and Additions
- Added 2 new cheat codes for Secret Desire members.
- Fixed a gallery issue where it wasn’t working properly. Now, when you pass through a scene meant to unlock a gallery thumbnail, the thumbnail becomes clickable and you can replay the scene. A new thumbnail was also added.
-
Added 2 new minigames (they’re still early and not fully finished):
- Match-3: currently used only to earn money. You accumulate points, and then the points are converted into money through a calculation.
- Blackjack: playable already, with visuals and mechanics in place, but nothing major happens in it yet—basically a beta. (Feel free to send ideas!)
- Added a new paranoia scene—it’s “spicy.” I recommend checking it out. It’s planned to be expanded, since there’s a lot of potential to explore with Clara in that bathroom situation.
(Activation tip for the paranoia scene: keep your sanity below 6. When Nala is not taking a bath, go into the bathroom and the scene should trigger.)
