NU Carnival

NU Carnival is a turn-based RPG set in a world beyond your own. You play as the summoned protagonist and take charge of maintaining and regulating the natural elemental gems. Form contracts with clan members who each bring their own personality, then team up to explore, battle, and push back threats together.

Build your party by selecting five members. Win fights by using character skills at the right moments and leaning into attribute advantages. Along the way, you’ll deepen emotional bonds with your allies—raising intimacy unlocks more conversations and even lets you adjust character outfits, which can provide additional rewards.

The game also includes voice acting from many renowned voice actors. Each character uses a unique model that helps highlight what makes them special. As your bond grows, you’ll unlock further dialogue and more customization options.

Gameplay Overview

You can raise a character’s combat power in four main ways: Level Up, Tier Breakthrough, Potential, and Tryst.

1) Level Up

This is the simplest way to increase combat power. Even if you earn more EXP than needed, any extra EXP is carried over and applied when the character levels up. EXP gain is based on a fixed rate of 12 EXP per stamina.

2) Tier Breakthrough

If you pull duplicate characters in your contracts, those duplicates are converted into fragments. Once you collect enough fragments, you can upgrade their tier.

• You can also exchange fragments through Store → Special Exchange using Memory Crystals.
• Memory Crystals can be obtained in sets of 5 per draw or by completing a specific Secret Meeting Room.
• Tiering up is harder than leveling, but it strengthens key stats—especially attack power, stamina, and special move skills.
• For SR and SSR characters, reaching 5 stars requires a crystal core in addition to fragments.
• Crystal cores are available via event rewards, store purchases, and other sources.

3) Potential

Potential is another strong way to boost combat power, and you can gather materials fairly easily.

• Materials can come from exploration, shop purchases, clearing daily quests, occasional event stages such as treasure search, and repeat clears of the main course (lighting).



• SR and SSR characters need an extra material called Crystal Flower Gem at Potential 6 and Potential 12.
• You can obtain Crystal Flower Gem from R/SR secret meeting room rewards, event rewards, shop purchases, and similar activities.
• For N and R characters, Crystal Flower Fragment is required at Potential 3, obtainable through weekly and monthly missions.

4) Tryst

After you complete Tryst, the character gains a permanent increase to both HP and ATK.

• There are 5 rooms in total.
• Progress starts with 5% at the beginning, rises to 10% in the middle, and reaches 20% at the end.



• If you don’t spend money, it’s recommended to get the Tryst item through the daily stage.
• For faster progression, consider using Memories Picture.
• Check Secret Meeting to learn how to obtain it.

Early on, you’re given SR Morphis and 2-Star SR Esters automatically, but both of these characters must be fostered. Since they’re SR units, tier growth is easier and their skills are strong—making them a near-essential part of your roster from early game through mid-to-late game.

Useful Tips

Look Out for Redeem Codes

Redeem gift codes to unlock extra benefits and valuable in-game resources. Keep checking official sources regularly—developers often release codes via social media or community posts. These can provide big boosts, including premium currency and special items that help you progress faster.

Use Auto-Battle Wisely

Auto-battle is especially useful when you hit harder stages. It helps you manage fights with minimal manual effort and can still secure wins effectively. That said, don’t forget to stay alert—step in and adjust when needed so your strategy still guides the automated battles to success.

Take Advantage of Elemental Matchups

Choose allies and attacks based on elemental affinities. Doing this strategically increases your damage and improves your odds of victory. Pay attention to elemental dynamics during fights so your team can have a tactical edge against each challenge.

Upgrade Your Allies Regularly

Keep raising and ascending your characters to increase their overall strength and unlock stronger abilities. This helps you stay ready for the tougher battles that come as you advance. Make sure your roster stays up to date with the evolving power demands of the game.
