CookieRun

CookieRun is a top-down action-adventure game where you team up with brave cookie warriors to defend the Cookie Tower from evil forces. Explore the tower in company with your allies, battle enemies together, and take on challenging bosses to earn valuable rewards that help strengthen your favorite characters. The game also features multiple gameplay modes—Story, Raids, Dungeons, and Tower Rift—each offering rewards and opportunities to grow your cookie team. New events, characters, and story updates keep arriving, so stay tuned!
Game Modes
Story Mode
Story Mode is the main campaign. GingerBrave’s adventure begins as he works to seal the Oven inside The Pancake Tower. You can play solo or with 2 players, and it is divided into 8 chapters. Each stage includes 3 objectives, and completing them earns 1–3 Star Coal pieces depending on your performance.
Star Coal powers the Star Coal Express. If you collect all Star Coal in a chapter, you’ll receive 20 Basic Cookie Tickets.

Bear Jellies are obtained by defeating enemies or can be earned throughout the mode. You can exchange them for items, with the available item types changing every two chapters. Hard Mode brings tougher stages, more Bear Jellies, and adds Flawless Mode, which introduces new shop items.
Raid Mode
Raid Mode is a multiplayer challenge where you and your team take on Story Mode bosses. There are five difficulty levels, and each one requires stronger power to succeed. You can invite up to 3 friends to form a party. The raid lobby changes visually and audibly based on the selected difficulty.
Rewards can include Equipment Fragments, Bundles, and Weapon Schematics. Higher difficulties also offer trophies that unlock Epic+ chests. Each season, two elements receive a +30% attack bonus. After each raid, you receive random chests, and some may be upgraded to Rainbow through the Coco Drop Fairy.
Glass Labyrinth
The Glass Labyrinth was introduced in the November 2023 playtest and unlocks at Train Level 25. This is a single-player mode with up to 3 enemy stages. Each stage grants buffs depending on the elements you use.
You may select up to two Cookies per stage, but each Cookie can only be used once in that stage.
The mode has two parts:
- Labyrinth of Remembrance: Contains 10 trials. Rewards are available only when you complete each trial for the first time.
- Infinite Labyrinth: Added in July 2024. This is a weekly event that cycles between two chapters. You earn points and chests based on your ranking, including Scrolls of Enhancement.
Tower Rift
Tower Rift becomes available starting at Train Level 20. In each run, you defeat four waves of common enemies—called Mirages—and then face a mini-boss.
Enemy selection is randomized: each run picks one of the seven Story Mode chapters for its enemies. Even so, the structure stays the same:
- After Wave 2, a rift appears.
- Each wave contains 32 monsters.
- Each mini-boss is preceded by a group of 12 basic enemies.
In Tower Rift, you can earn all three grades of Artisan’s Sugar, plus a chance to obtain various rarities of Equipment and Special Equipment Fragments. It is also the only place where you can get Scrolls of Potential.
The recommended element rotates in a fixed pattern, shifting by one step every 24 hours starting from midnight in GMT +9. The order is:
Dark → Fire → Water → Wind → Light → Earth → All, then it loops back to Dark on the 8th day.
Key Features
Meet the Hero
Your first combat companion in CookieRun is GingerBrave, who kicks off the journey by battling the enemy. After each victory, you’ll help progress through the hero gathering area, where you can unlock additional cookie warriors.
Crush Pepper Cookie is the team’s main heroine. She focuses more on attack than defense—at level 17, her attack and defense values are 239 and 135, respectively. Her skills can deliver lightning attacks using her fists and can also burn enemies with fire. She fights with full enthusiasm alongside other cookies you can control, such as Werewolf Cookie or Cherry Cookie.

As you unlock new cookie warriors, you can team up with them to challenge the invading forces atop the tower.
Power Up

Power plays a crucial role in helping your heroes face enemies and come out victorious. Beyond each hero’s own potential, you can strengthen them with support equipment such as weapons, hats, and clothes to increase attack speed.
Every time you use support items, your cookie hero also improves basic stats. For example, when Crush Pepper Cookie activates the Bana Bana Spell artifact, she gains 14% more health and takes 16% less damage if she has a shield.
You can also switch to other items (such as Rain of forks, which boosts attack by 16%) as long as they help you reach your highest power. Collect and equip strong gear to raise your cookie hero’s combat strength.

Overcome All Modes
Fighting invaders isn’t easy when enemies are overwhelming and you’re only accompanied by a handful of heroes. First, you need to understand the main cause behind what’s happening in the Pancake Tower...
